For electronic components and other products not included in the Lockdown® Vault Door Limited or Lockdown Golden Rod Limited Lifetime warranties below, we warrant that the component will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of manufacture. If determined to have defects in materials and workmanship during the one-year period, we will repair the product at no cost to you. If we cannot repair your product, we will replace it with an item of equivalent value. OUR OBLIGATION TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE PRODUCT SHALL BE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THE WARRANTY.
LOCKDOWN VAULT DOOR LIMITED WARRANTY
This Lockdown Limited Warranty is offered by Lockdown and applies to the Lockdown Logic Vault Doors and Lockdown Logic Bunker Doors (“Lockdown Logic Doors”). Lockdown Logic Doors are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for five (5) years after date of purchase. Lockdown will repair or replace with an item of equivalent value, at its option, any Lockdown Logic Doors or component part which is found to be defective under normal use and service, without charge, and within a reasonable amount of time after notification and delivery of the Lockdown Logic Doors (as set forth below), for five (5) years after purchase. Repair may include, at the discretion of Lockdown, replacement parts and detailed instructions requiring owner to repair/replace components of the Lockdown Logic Doors.
Damage due to accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, negligence, improper or insufficient installation, lack of maintenance, or unauthorized modification is not warranted.
LOCKDOWN GOLDEN ROD LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
This Lockdown Golden Rod Limited Lifetime Warranty is offered by Lockdown and applies to the Lockdown Golden Rod branded products (the “Golden Rod Products”). Golden Rod Products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the Golden Rod Products. Lockdown will repair or replace with an item of equivalent value, at its option, any Golden Rod Product or component part which is found to be defective under normal use and service, without charge, and within a reasonable amount of time after notification and delivery of the Golden Rod Product (as set forth below), for the lifetime of the Golden Rod Products. The life of the Golden Rod Product means the life of the materials and components of the product. While Lockdown uses the very best materials and components for its products, all materials and components eventually wear out with use and exposure over time. A Golden Rod Product’s life is therefore measured by how much use it gets and how well it is cared for -- not its overall age.
Each Lockdown warranty is limited to the original owner of the product and is not transferable. If the product was not purchased new from Lockdown or an authorized retailer this warranty is null and void. In order to be eligible for service or replacement under this warranty, the original owner must provide valid proof of purchase (e.g., a dated sales receipt). With respect to such products, this warranty supersedes any and all other warranties.
This warranty does not cover normal maintenance and service, ordinary wear and tear, and does not apply to any products or component parts which have been lost or stolen; or subject to commercial use, corrosion, misuse, neglect, intentional damage, carelessness, accident; unauthorized or improper disassembly, adjustments, modifications, or repairs made or attempted by anyone other than a qualified technician following Lockdown authorized procedures; or as a result of failure to follow the Covered Product’s operating and care instructions. This warranty also does not cover batteries, or defects arising from improper or faulty batteries, or any damage that is cosmetic only and that does not affect the product’s operation or performance (as determined by Lockdown in its sole discretion).

Warranty claims should specify the model and, where applicable, the lot number of the Covered Product at issue along with a description of the difficulty or defect experienced. It is recommended that shipments be insured by the owner, since Lockdown will accept no responsibility for loss or damage in transit. Transportation and insurance charges for return to the owner will be paid by Lockdown if the claim is covered by this warranty.
WORK NOT COVERED
If the work required is not covered by this warranty you will receive a quotation for repair or replacement which must be authorized by you. No actual work will be done without your approval. Return shipments can be shipped to Lockdown via UPS, FedEx or U.S. mail at your cost. Repaired or replaced product will be shipped back to you via FedEx requiring an adult signature upon receipt.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES FOR THE COVERED PRODUCTS, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. LOCKDOWN’S LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL RETAIL AMOUNT PAID BY THE OWNER OF THE DEFECTIVE COVERED PRODUCT OR COMPONENT PART. LOCKDOWN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES WITH RESPECT TO ECONOMIC LOSS, INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, WHETHER AS A RESULT OF BREACH OF THESE WARRANTIES, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF IT HAS BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties and/or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
