WIFI & SET-UP

DOES THE LOCKDOWN PUCK™ HAVE TO CONNECT TO WI-FI?

 

Yes, to receive notifications and adjust settings, the PUCK™ needs to be connected to WI-FI.

WHICH WI-FI FREQUENCY SHOULD I USE WITH THE PUCK™ IF I HAVE MULTIPLE FREQUENCIES AVAILABLE IN RANGE? 

 

The Lockdown PUCK™ is designed to work on a 2.4ghz network.

The Lockdown PUCK™ uses little bandwidth and the 2.4ghz offers a longer connection range and penetrates obstructions like walls or vaults more effectively.

When setting up your Lockdown PUCK™ only 2.4ghz networks will show as options in your Wi-Fi dropdown.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE WI-FI GOES DOWN?  

 

You will receive a notification from the app, email, and/or SMS that your PUCK™ has lost connection and is offline.

Don't worry, the PUCK™ will continue monitoring even if the Wi-Fi goes down.

When it's up and running again, your PUCK™ will reconnect and let you know of any alarms that occurred while offline. The PUCK™ isn't able to receive data when disconnected from WI-FI.  

DOES THE LOCKDOWN PUCK™ USE A LOT OF DATA?  

 

Nope, the PUCK™ is designed to use a very small amount of data. The actual amount will vary based on the PUCK™ settings and usage.  

HOW DO I UPDATE THE WI-FI NETWORK FOR MY LOCKDOWN PUCK™?  

 

To update the Wi-Fi on your PUCK™ press and hold down on the face of the PUCK™ until the 3 logos turn solid yellow.

Next, follow the set-up instructions via the app to connect to the new Wi-Fi network. All your other settings will remain the same when moving from one Wi-Fi network to another.

WHAT IS THE BEST RANGE TO SET MY TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY FOR FIREARMS?

 

Aim for a temperature of 65-70°F and a humidity of 45-50%RH.

IS THE LOCKDOWN PUCK™ WEATHER RESISTANT?  

 

The PUCK™ is engineered to be used indoors between the temperatures of 0-130°Fahreheit, -18-54°Celsius, or 255-327° Kelvin.  

HOW LONG DO THE BATTERIES LAST?

 

It depends on batteries, usage, atmosphere. Your app will keep you updated with what your battery percentage is and notify you when it is getting low.

We have also built in a power-saving mode to help increase battery life.

HOW DO I SET UP MY LOCKDOWN PUCK™ FOR NOTIFICATIONS?

 

Notifications can be sent to you directly from the app, email, and/or SMS.

Under the main menu, then notifications, you can change your preferences to enable how you would like to receive your notifications.

Using the CONTACTS section, you can also send notifications to others without giving them your login information.

HOW DO I ENABLE POWER SAVER MODE?

 

How to get to it – Go to your device dashboard and tap the POWER tile and enable Power Save Mode
This mode allows your PUCK™ to “sleep” and conserve power until an external source triggers it.

It will continue to check in with the server, will continue to monitor temp/hum/battery life, door, and vibration, and if something changes, it will still notify you.

All app functions are the same, but the audible and visual alerts triggered by arming and disarming from the app are disabled.

MY DOOR SENSOR IS NOT WORKING.

IS IT GOING TO WORK IN MY SAFE?

 

The PUCK™ has a high-strength 2.4GHz Wi-Fi antenna that only requires -70dBm for a secure connection.

Depending on your safe location and signal strength to your router, the PUCK™ should be able to connect to your WI-FI.

If you can receive Wi-Fi on your phone or other devices inside the safe, the PUCK™ should also work.

WHAT IF MY TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY READINGS ARE INCORRECT?

 

Temperature and humidity readings will take 24-48 hours (about 2 days) to acclimate to the environment when first installed or moved.

During this time readings may be inaccurate.

THE LOGIC™ APP

ARE THERE ANY SUBSCRITION COSTS?  

 

Nope! The Lockdown LOGIC™ App is free to download and use.  

WHAT IF MY PHONE GETS HACKED? 

 

The LOGIC™ App has an added layer of security by automatically logging you out after leaving the app.

If you set it to automatically log in, we strongly recommend you keep a passcode on your phone to eliminate any potential tampering with your account.  

I AM NOT RECIEVING THE REGISTRATION EMAIL.

 

If you are not receiving the email, please check your text messages (SMS) for the phone number that you used to register.

If you did not receive a text or email, please contact our customer service department.

HOW MANY LOCKDOWN DEVICES CAN I SYNC WITH MY APP?

 

You can add up to 512 Lockdown devices to your Lockdown LOGIC™ App.

CAN MULTIPLE PEOPLE BE NOTIFIED?

 

For any Lockdown LOGIC™ product, you can choose however many people you want to receive notifications and the type of notifications they receive, such as app notifications, SMS, or emails in the "contacts" section.

HOW DO I PERFORM AN UPDATE ON THE APP?  

 

Like your other apps, it will either automatically update or it will show up as a notification in the App Store to manually update.  

HOW DO I PERFORM AN UPDATE ON THE LOCKDOWN PUCK™?  

At the top of this category you will find a button to update your PUCK™ to the latest firmware. 

WIFI & SET-UP

DOES THE PLUG HAVE TO CONNECT TO WI-FI?

 

No, the LOGIC™ Plug can still function without Wi-Fi but will only be able to be turned on/off manually.

To access all the features of a smart plug it does need to be connected to Wi-Fi and the Lockdown LOGIC™ App.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WI-FI IS DISCONNECTED?

 

The Plug isn’t able to receive data when disconnected.

Schedules, timers, and LOGIC™ sequences, etc. will not function but you will be able to turn the Plug on/off manually.

WHAT IS THE POWER RATING OF THE PLUG?  

 

The Plug is rated at 10 Amps / 1250 Watts. This should be sufficient for most products.

High power appliances such as microwaves and toaster ovens could be higher so check the label on these products before using.

CAN YOU PUT TWO LOGIC™ PLUGS IN ONE TWO OUTLET PLATE?

 

Yes, the LOGIC™ Plug is designed to maximize space by being able to plug two outlets into one plate.

The Plugs will behave independently, and both are controllable via the LOGIC™ App

CAN YOU PLUG A TWO-OUTLET SPLITTER INTO IT AND CONTROL TWO LIGHTS WITH ONE INPUT?

 

The Plug operates by giving you the ability to turn the power source on and off.

If you plug a splitter into the LOGIC™ Plug it will allow you to operate two lights at once.

The settings chosen for that Plug will apply to both lights and you will not be able to control them independently.

Just be sure the combined amperage is still under the 10A maximum.

THE LOGIC™ APP + SMART HOME INTEGRATION

IS THE PLUG COMPATIBLE WITH AMAZON ALEXA / GOOGLE HOME?

 

The LOGIC™ Plug is designed to work with both Alexa and Home but these units are not required to operate the device.

If you pair them with these devices, they will operate based on the available setting with Alexa or Home and still be controllable via your LOGIC™ App.

HOW DO I CONNECT THE PLUG WITH AMAZON ALEXA / GOOGLE HOME?

 

Visit the LOGIC™ App's "settings" tab.

Click on the desired smart home program (Google Home or Amazon Alexa) and download their app to integrate Lockdown and smart home accounts to begin audible commands with the LOGIC™ Plug. --"Alexa, turn on my Plug"

HOW DO I PERFORM AN UPDATE ON THE PLUG?

 

When an update becomes available, you will receive a notification within the Lockdown LOGIC™ App with instructions on how to update your Plug.

HOW DO I SET-UP LOGIC™ ACTIONS BETWEEN OTHER LOGIC™ PRODUCTS?

 

Visit the LOGIC™ App's "logic" tab. Click on the plus in the upper right corner.

Customize your LOGIC™ actions name, description, and select additional Lockdown products to create chain reaction actions while you're away.

Light your vault as the PUCK notifies the Plug that the door has opened, the Plug will light the room as long as lights are plugged in.

As the door closes, you can program the plug to turn the light off!

WIFI & INSTALLATION

WHAT SIZE WALL CAN THE 28-30” OUTSWING DOOR BE INSTALLED IN?

 

The 28-30” Logic Door replaces both 28 and 30” interior doors with 30-32” Wide X 80” Tall rough opening sizes.

It is 4.5” thick so it will fit a 2x4 wall with ½” drywall on both sides. The door will function completely in a wall thicker than 4.5”; however, additional trim may be needed to give the interior edge a fully finished appearance.

If installing this door into a 32” wide rough opening, simply add one additional 2x4 stud inside to opening to make it narrower. See Door Dimensions for more details.

WHAT SIZE WALL CAN THE 30-32” INSWING DOOR BE INSTALLE IN?

 

The 30-32” Logic Door will replace both 30 and 32” interior doors with 32-34” Wide X 80” Tall rough opening sizes.

It is 4.5” thick so it will perfectly fit a 2x4 wall with ½” drywall on both sides.

The door will function completely in a wall thicker than 4.5”; however, additional trim may be needed to give the interior edge a fully finished appearance.

WHAT SIZE WALL CAN THE 36” BUNKER DOOR BE INSTALLED IN?

 

The 36” Logic Bunker Door is 8.1” thick. This door is designed to install into solid concrete or block walls at least 8” thick.

The door will function completely in a wall thicker than 8”; however, additional trim may be needed to give the interior edge a fully finished appearance.

This door will fit perfectly into 36” Wide X 80” Tall rough opening sizes. See Door Dimensions for more details.

IS THE DOOR PREHUNG?

 

Yes, the door is prehung into a solid steel frame and includes all the mounting hardware to be fully installed.

DOES THE DOOR FRAME INCLUDE A THRESHOLD?

 

Yes, the door frame has a solid steel threshold that will sit directly on the floor.

The threshold also includes a ¾” tall lip to fully secure the opening, even from the bottom.

WHAT POWER ADAPTERS ARE PROVIDED WITH THE DOOR?

 

Wall Plug Adapter – This adapter provides the door with constant power and full functionality.

This is the recommended method for powering the Vault Door and can be connected to either the inside or outside of the door.

Battery Alligator Clips - This adapter allows any 12-volt battery (car battery, sealed lead-acid, Lithium-Ion, etc.) to power the door if no wall outlet is available and can be connected to either the inside or outside of the door.

This adapter can also be used to power the door in case of a power failure.

*The battery life using this method will depend on the size and type of battery used.

DOES THE DOOR HAVE TRIM?

 

Yes, the door frame includes 2.25” painted steel casing trim on the outside edge.

On the outside of the opening, the only trim work needed is to match any baseboard trim up to the edge of the casing.

On the inside of the door, casing trim may be desired and can be placed all the way to the inside edge of the door opening.

DOES THE LOGIC DOOR HAVE TO CONNECT TO WI-FI?

 

We recommend using Wi-Fi and the free Lockdown LOGIC App to monitor your door but the door is fully functional

and completely secure even if Wi-Fi is unavailable or turned off.

WHTA HAPPENS IF THE WI-FI GOES DOWN?

 

If the Wi-Fi goes down, the Lockdown LOGIC App will send you a notification.

Even without Wi-Fi, you are still able to use your Master Pin to access the vault as well as any guest pins that do not have 2-factor authentication.

The Logic door is designed from the ground up to be the most secure entryway possible.

The door is built from solid steel and has a proprietary locking mechanism engineered to resist drilling, prying and breaching.

It's even bulletproof. Its built-in WIFI allows you to connect to the Lockdown LOGIC App to receive notification about any attempted and successful entry.

WHAT DOES THE LOGIC DOOR MONITOR?

 

Temperature, humidity, tampering, impact forces, door opened/closed, backup battery level, Wi-Fi connection, code entry and access.

WHAT CONDITIONS IS THE DOOR RATED FOR?

 

The Logic Vault Door is engineered to be used indoors between 0-130° Fahrenheit (-18-54° Celsius or 255-327° Kelvin).

The door is not designed for exterior use and direct water contact should be avoided.

CAN I CHANGE THE COLOR OF THE DOOR?

 

If you want to. The exterior of the door is powder-coated steel and can be easily painted another color if desired.

However, no paint should be applied to the face of the keypad or the inside of the Anti-Pry handle pocket.

HOW FAR OPEN DOES THE DOOR SWING?

 

The door can swing approximately 175° without an obstruction.

WHAT IF THE POWER GOES OUT?

 

The Logic Vault Door has built-in rechargeable batteries to keep your door secure even if the power goes out.

In very extreme cases, we have calculated the door can also be opened one time by 8,000 standard-sized russet potatoes.

Note, powering your door with potatoes is not recommended.

WHAT IS THE LOGIC DOOR MADE OF?

 

11 gauge steel with additional interior steel reinforcement bars.

CAN THE DOOR RESIST A DRILL ATTACK?

 

Absolutely! The Logic Door has a solid AR500 steel armor plate to prevent drill attacks and is even bulletproof!

The Bunker Door has the same armor plate with the addition of 500 stainless steel ball bearings to provide even more drill resistance.

HOW MANY LOCKING BOLTS DOES THE DOOR HAVE?

 

The Logic Door has 10 solid stainless steel locking bolts that can withstand up to 500,000 pounds of shear force.

HOW DOES THE ANTI-PRY DOOR HANDLE WORK?

 

The Logic Vault Door has a proprietary handle to resist prying and give the Door a smooth exterior (This is ideal if you’re hiding the door behind something).

When a correct code is entered, the handle will automatically extend and it will retract once the door is locked.

Prying or tampering with the handle will not affect the door lock. If the handle is held open, the door will remain locked and the handle will automatically retract once the handle is released.

HOW DOES THE DOOR MEASURE TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY?

 

The Door has a built-in precision sensor located inside of the door near the manual door handle.

Temperature and Humidity readings are displayed directly on the keypad and in the Lockdown LOGIC App.

Notifications for high and low humidity and temperature readings can be customized in the Lockdown LOGIC App.

The sensor is accurate to +/- 3% for humidity and +/- 0.4 C (0.72 F) for temperature but does require 24-48 hours to acclimate upon initial install.

*Direct sunlight on the door may affect an accurate temperature reading.

Within this dashboard, you can edit, set, and customize notifications under the "notifications" tab.

CAN I OPEN/CLOSE THE DOOR FROM THE LOCKDOWN LOGIC APP?

 

No. The Lockdown LOGIC App does not store any PIN codes for your security.

You can enable 2-factor authentication for guest pins, which allows you to grant access (or NOT) from the Lockdown LOGIC App when your guest use their pin code.

CAN MULTIPLE PEOPLE RECIEVE NOTIFICATIONS?

 

For any Lockdown LOGIC™ product you can choose other contacts to receive notifications via SMS or email.

In the Lockdown LOGIC App. Open the main menu where you can access the Contacts Dashboard.

This Dashboard allows you to add and update any contacts you want to receive notifications.

The exact notifications they receive can be customized through the Notifications Dashboard in the Lockdown LOGIC™ App.

LOGIC APP PIN ACCESSABILITY

HOW SECURE ARE THE PIN CODES?

 

The Logic Door allows up to 10 Million unique PIN codes from 4 to 10 digits long

The Door also includes an automatic 99 second lockout feature if 5 incorrect codes are entered.

The table below shows the time required to try to guess every code combination and gain entry to the Logic Vault Door.

WHAT IF I LOSE MY MASTER PIN?

 

We highly recommend recording your Master Pin code on the provided card and storing it in a secure location outside of the vault.

For your security, Lockdown does not record a factory pin that can override the door.

If the Master Pin code is lost a locksmith will have to be called.

HOW MANY PIN CODES CAN I SET?

 

The Logic Door can accept one Master code and up to 9 Guest codes.

The Master code allows access and is required to change any door settings and set Guest codes.

Guest codes allow other users to access the door but do not allow any changes to settings or other codes.

CAN I SET PIN CODES FROM THE LOCKDOWN LOGIC APP?

 

No. For your security, the Lockdown LOGIC™ App does not know or store any passcodes.

You are able to enable and disable 2-factor authentication for guest pin codes from the Lockdown LOGIC™ App.

WHAT IS 2-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION?

 

The Logic door allows Guest codes to be set up with 2-factor authentication.

This setting will send a notification to the Lockdown LOGIC™ App anytime a Guest code is used.

The access must be approved through the Lockdown LOGIC™ App before the door will open.

The door will wait up to 99 seconds for the 2-factor access to be approved in the Lockdown LOGIC™ App.

If access is not approved, the Guest code will not allow access.

CAN MULTIPLE PEOPLE BE SET TO APPROVE 2-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION?

 

No, for your security only the owner of the Lockdown account can manage 2-factor authentication.

CAN 2-FACTOR CODES BE USED WITHOUT Wi-Fi

 

No. Guest codes can be used without Wi-Fi, but 2-factor authentication requires Wi-Fi access to send the notification to the Lockdown LOGIC App.

If a Guest code with 2-factor enabled is entered and the Wi-Fi is not connected the door will beep 3 times and the Lockdown Logo and Wi-Fi icon will flash to indicate that access has been denied because the server cannot be reached.

*If you do not plan to connect the door to Wi-Fi please ensure 2-factor authentication is turned off.

It will continue to check in with the server, will continue to monitor temp/hum/battery life, door, and vibration, and if something changes, it will still notify you.

All app functions are the same, but the audible and visual alerts triggered by arming and disarming from the app are disabled.

IS IT GOING TO WORK IN MY SAFE?

 

The PUCK™ has a high-strength 2.4GHz Wi-Fi antenna that only requires -70dBm for a secure connection.

Depending on your safe location and signal strength to your router, the PUCK™ should be able to connect to your WI-FI.

If you can receive Wi-Fi on your phone or other devices inside the safe, the PUCK™ should also work.

WHAT IF MY TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY READINGS ARE INCORRECT?

 

Temperature and humidity readings will take 24-48 hours (about 2 days) to acclimate to the environment when first installed or moved.

During this time readings may be inaccurate.

WHAT IF MY PHONE GETS HACKED? 

 

The LOGIC™ App has an added layer of security by automatically logging you out after leaving the app.

If you set it to automatically log in, we strongly recommend you keep a passcode on your phone to eliminate any potential tampering with your account.

WIFI & SET-UP

DOES THE PLUG HAVE TO CONNECT TO WI-FI?

 

No, the LOGIC™ Plug can still function without Wi-Fi but will only be able to be turned on/off manually.

To access all the features of a smart plug it does need to be connected to Wi-Fi and the Lockdown LOGIC™ App.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WI-FI IS DISCONNECTED?

 

The Plug isn’t able to receive data when disconnected.

Schedules, timers, and LOGIC™ sequences, etc. will not function but you will be able to turn the Plug on/off manually.

HOW DO I UPDATE THE WI-FI NETWORK FOR MY PLUG?

 

To update the Wi-Fi on your Plug, follow the set-up instructions via the app to connect to the new Wi-Fi network.

All your settings will remain the same when moving from one Wi-Fi network to another.

DOES THE PLUG USE A LOT OF DATA?

 

The Plug is designed to use a minimal amount of data.

High power appliances such as microwaves and toaster ovens could be higher so check the label on these products before using.

CAN YOU PUT TWO LOGIC™ PLUGS IN ONE TWO OUTLET PLATE?

 

Yes, the LOGIC™ Plug is designed to maximize space by being able to plug two outlets into one plate.

The Plugs will behave independently, and both are controllable via the LOGIC™ App

CAN YOU PLUG A TWO-OUTLET SPLITTER INTO IT AND CONTROL TWO LIGHTS WITH ONE INPUT?

 

The Plug operates by giving you the ability to turn the power source on and off.

If you plug a splitter into the LOGIC™ Plug it will allow you to operate two lights at once.

The settings chosen for that Plug will apply to both lights and you will not be able to control them independently.

Just be sure the combined amperage is still under the 10A maximum.

THE LOGIC™ APP + SMART HOME INTEGRATION

IS THE PLUG COMPATIBLE WITH AMAZON ALEXA / GOOGLE HOME?

 

The LOGIC™ Plug is designed to work with both Alexa and Home but these units are not required to operate the device.

If you pair them with these devices, they will operate based on the available setting with Alexa or Home and still be controllable via your LOGIC™ App.

HOW DO I CONNECT THE PLUG WITH AMAZON ALEXA / GOOGLE HOME?

 

Visit the LOGIC™ App's "settings" tab.

Click on the desired smart home program (Google Home or Amazon Alexa) and download their app to integrate Lockdown and smart home accounts to begin audible commands with the LOGIC™ Plug. --"Alexa, turn on my Plug"

HOW DO I PERFORM AN UPDATE ON THE PLUG?

 

When an update becomes available, you will receive a notification within the Lockdown LOGIC™ App with instructions on how to update your Plug.

HOW DO I SET-UP LOGIC™ ACTIONS BETWEEN OTHER LOGIC™ PRODUCTS?

 

Visit the LOGIC™ App's "logic" tab. Click on the plus in the upper right corner.

Customize your LOGIC™ actions name, description, and select additional Lockdown products to create chain reaction actions while you're away.

Light your vault as the PUCK notifies the Plug that the door has opened, the Plug will light the room as long as lights are plugged in.

As the door closes, you can program the plug to turn the light off!

WIFI & INSTALLATION

WHAT SIZE WALL CAN THE 28-30” OUTSWING DOOR BE INSTALLED IN?

 

The 28-30” Logic Door replaces both 28 and 30” interior doors with 30-32” Wide X 80” Tall rough opening sizes.

It is 4.5” thick so it will fit a 2x4 wall with ½” drywall on both sides. The door will function completely in a wall thicker than 4.5”; however, additional trim may be needed to give the interior edge a fully finished appearance.

If installing this door into a 32” wide rough opening, simply add one additional 2x4 stud inside to opening to make it narrower. See Door Dimensions for more details.

WHAT SIZE WALL CAN THE 30-32” INSWING DOOR BE INSTALLE IN?

 

The 30-32” Logic Door will replace both 30 and 32” interior doors with 32-34” Wide X 80” Tall rough opening sizes.

It is 4.5” thick so it will perfectly fit a 2x4 wall with ½” drywall on both sides.

The door will function completely in a wall thicker than 4.5”; however, additional trim may be needed to give the interior edge a fully finished appearance.

WHAT SIZE WALL CAN THE 36” BUNKER DOOR BE INSTALLED IN?

 

The 36” Logic Bunker Door is 8.1” thick. This door is designed to install into solid concrete or block walls at least 8” thick.

The door will function completely in a wall thicker than 8”; however, additional trim may be needed to give the interior edge a fully finished appearance.

This door will fit perfectly into 36” Wide X 80” Tall rough opening sizes. See Door Dimensions for more details.

IS THE DOOR PREHUNG?

 

Yes, the door is prehung into a solid steel frame and includes all the mounting hardware to be fully installed.

DOES THE DOOR FRAME INCLUDE A THRESHOLD?

 

Yes, the door frame has a solid steel threshold that will sit directly on the floor.

The threshold also includes a ¾” tall lip to fully secure the opening, even from the bottom.

WHAT POWER ADAPTERS ARE PROVIDED WITH THE DOOR?

 

Wall Plug Adapter – This adapter provides the door with constant power and full functionality.

This is the recommended method for powering the Vault Door and can be connected to either the inside or outside of the door.

Battery Alligator Clips - This adapter allows any 12-volt battery (car battery, sealed lead-acid, Lithium-Ion, etc.) to power the door if no wall outlet is available and can be connected to either the inside or outside of the door.

This adapter can also be used to power the door in case of a power failure.

*The battery life using this method will depend on the size and type of battery used.

DOES THE DOOR HAVE TRIM?

 

Yes, the door frame includes 2.25” painted steel casing trim on the outside edge.

On the outside of the opening, the only trim work needed is to match any baseboard trim up to the edge of the casing.

On the inside of the door, casing trim may be desired and can be placed all the way to the inside edge of the door opening.

DOES THE LOGIC DOOR HAVE TO CONNECT TO WI-FI?

 

We recommend using Wi-Fi and the free Lockdown LOGIC App to monitor your door but the door is fully functional

and completely secure even if Wi-Fi is unavailable or turned off.

WHTA HAPPENS IF THE WI-FI GOES DOWN?

 

If the Wi-Fi goes down, the Lockdown LOGIC App will send you a notification.

Even without Wi-Fi, you are still able to use your Master Pin to access the vault as well as any guest pins that do not have 2-factor authentication.

DOES THE DOOR USE A LOT OF DATA?

 

Nope, the door is designed to use a very small amount of data. The actual amount will vary based on door settings and usage.

HOW DO I UPDATE THE WI-FI NETWORK?

 

To update the Wi-Fi press and hold down the face button until the 3 logos turn solid yellow.

Next, follow the set-up instructions via the Lockdown LOGIC App to connect to the new Wi-Fi network.

All your other settings will remain the same when moving from one Wi-Fi network to another.

HOW SECURE IS THE LOGIC DOOR?

 

The Logic door is designed from the ground up to be the most secure entryway possible.

The door is built from solid steel and has a proprietary locking mechanism engineered to resist drilling, prying and breaching.

It's even bulletproof. Its built-in WIFI allows you to connect to the Lockdown LOGIC App to receive notification about any attempted and successful entry.

WHAT DOES THE LOGIC DOOR MONITOR?

 

Temperature, humidity, tampering, impact forces, door opened/closed, backup battery level, Wi-Fi connection, code entry and access.

WHAT CONDITIONS IS THE DOOR RATED FOR?

 

The Logic Vault Door is engineered to be used indoors between 0-130° Fahrenheit (-18-54° Celsius or 255-327° Kelvin).

The door is not designed for exterior use and direct water contact should be avoided.

CAN I CHANGE THE COLOR OF THE DOOR?

 

If you want to. The exterior of the door is powder-coated steel and can be easily painted another color if desired.

However, no paint should be applied to the face of the keypad or the inside of the Anti-Pry handle pocket.

HOW FAR OPEN DOES THE DOOR SWING?

 

The door can swing approximately 175° without an obstruction.

WHAT IF THE POWER GOES OUT?

 

The Logic Vault Door has built-in rechargeable batteries to keep your door secure even if the power goes out.

In very extreme cases, we have calculated the door can also be opened one time by 8,000 standard-sized russet potatoes.

Note, powering your door with potatoes is not recommended.

WHAT IS THE LOGIC DOOR MADE OF?

 

11 gauge steel with additional interior steel reinforcement bars.

CAN THE DOOR RESIST A DRILL ATTACK?

 

Absolutely! The Logic Door has a solid AR500 steel armor plate to prevent drill attacks and is even bulletproof!

The Bunker Door has the same armor plate with the addition of 500 stainless steel ball bearings to provide even more drill resistance.

HOW MANY LOCKING BOLTS DOES THE DOOR HAVE?

 

The Logic Door has 10 solid stainless steel locking bolts that can withstand up to 500,000 pounds of shear force.

HOW DOES THE ANTI-PRY DOOR HANDLE WORK?

 

The Logic Vault Door has a proprietary handle to resist prying and give the Door a smooth exterior (This is ideal if you’re hiding the door behind something).

When a correct code is entered, the handle will automatically extend and it will retract once the door is locked.

Prying or tampering with the handle will not affect the door lock. If the handle is held open, the door will remain locked and the handle will automatically retract once the handle is released.

HOW DOES THE DOOR MEASURE TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY?

 

The Door has a built-in precision sensor located inside of the door near the manual door handle.

Temperature and Humidity readings are displayed directly on the keypad and in the Lockdown LOGIC App.

Notifications for high and low humidity and temperature readings can be customized in the Lockdown LOGIC App.

The sensor is accurate to +/- 3% for humidity and +/- 0.4 C (0.72 F) for temperature but does require 24-48 hours to acclimate upon initial install.

*Direct sunlight on the door may affect an accurate temperature reading.

Under the main menu access the doors dashboard.

Within this dashboard, you can edit, set, and customize notifications under the "notifications" tab.

CAN I OPEN/CLOSE THE DOOR FROM THE LOCKDOWN LOGIC APP?

 

No. The Lockdown LOGIC App does not store any PIN codes for your security.

You can enable 2-factor authentication for guest pins, which allows you to grant access (or NOT) from the Lockdown LOGIC App when your guest use their pin code.

CAN MULTIPLE PEOPLE RECIEVE NOTIFICATIONS?

 

For any Lockdown LOGIC™ product you can choose other contacts to receive notifications via SMS or email.

In the Lockdown LOGIC App. Open the main menu where you can access the Contacts Dashboard.

This Dashboard allows you to add and update any contacts you want to receive notifications.

The exact notifications they receive can be customized through the Notifications Dashboard in the Lockdown LOGIC™ App.

HOW SECURE ARE THE PIN CODES?

 

The Logic Door allows up to 10 Million unique PIN codes from 4 to 10 digits long

The Door also includes an automatic 99 second lockout feature if 5 incorrect codes are entered.

The table below shows the time required to try to guess every code combination and gain entry to the Logic Vault Door.

WHAT IF I LOSE MY MASTER PIN?

 

We highly recommend recording your Master Pin code on the provided card and storing it in a secure location outside of the vault.

For your security, Lockdown does not record a factory pin that can override the door.

If the Master Pin code is lost a locksmith will have to be called.

HOW MANY PIN CODES CAN I SET?

 

The Logic Door can accept one Master code and up to 9 Guest codes.

The Master code allows access and is required to change any door settings and set Guest codes.

Guest codes allow other users to access the door but do not allow any changes to settings or other codes.

CAN I SET PIN CODES FROM THE LOCKDOWN LOGIC APP?

 

No. For your security, the Lockdown LOGIC™ App does not know or store any passcodes.

You are able to enable and disable 2-factor authentication for guest pin codes from the Lockdown LOGIC™ App.

WHAT IS 2-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION?

 

The Logic door allows Guest codes to be set up with 2-factor authentication.

This setting will send a notification to the Lockdown LOGIC™ App anytime a Guest code is used.

The access must be approved through the Lockdown LOGIC™ App before the door will open.

The door will wait up to 99 seconds for the 2-factor access to be approved in the Lockdown LOGIC™ App.

If access is not approved, the Guest code will not allow access.

CAN MULTIPLE PEOPLE BE SET TO APPROVE 2-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION?

 

No, for your security only the owner of the Lockdown account can manage 2-factor authentication.

CAN 2-FACTOR CODES BE USED WITHOUT Wi-Fi

 

No. Guest codes can be used without Wi-Fi, but 2-factor authentication requires Wi-Fi access to send the notification to the Lockdown LOGIC App.

If a Guest code with 2-factor enabled is entered and the Wi-Fi is not connected the door will beep 3 times and the Lockdown Logo and Wi-Fi icon will flash to indicate that access has been denied because the server cannot be reached.

*If you do not plan to connect the door to Wi-Fi please ensure 2-factor authentication is turned off.
